Har ki Doon offers a complete, raw, and endless beauty. The vistas that one absorbs on their sojourn to this blessed land are unparalleled.

As you journey through this blessed land, the surrounding scenery, the fresh mountain air, the sun-kissed snow peaks, and the rhythmic waters of the Supin river cascading down the slopes enthrall you in their embrace. The chirpy and happy faces of the locals, inviting you with their warmth, their charming wooden houses, everything feels so perfect, providing you with the right motivation and vigour to continue along the path of self-discovery.

As I scramble through my folder containing endless photographs from the trip I recently made to the valley, I felt an urge to share a select few and knit them together in a dedicated post. Travel along with me on this blessed journey, absorbing the vibe, the emotions, and I hope it captures your imagination.

    • Thank you so much for your appreciation! I’m really glad you enjoyed the images. There were countless moments that captured my imagination, but two stand out vividly in my memory:

      1. Interacting with the mountain residents – Life in these remote, rugged areas is indeed tough, yet the people live with such warmth and resilience. They welcome you with such genuine smiles, as if they’ve known you forever. It’s truly humbling.

      2. Reaching the summit and witnessing the majestic Swargarohini peak – I was absolutely smitten by its beauty. For a moment, it was hard to believe that what I was seeing was real. Far from the chaos of city life, this felt like pure magic — surreal and unforgettable.

      • Thank you for your reply. One of the joys of photography is how the images can invoke similar feelings to those experienced at the time. That makes the journey back through those photographs quite nostalgic.
